Lesson One: You Can Do Hard Things

When I arrived last night via bus I discovered Uber was not permitted to pick up from the bus/train station. So I headed to the taxi stand. There I discovered taxis were not permitted to drop off at my hotel. Now I am here to walk a long distance however I had three bags- a rolling suitcase, a large travel backpack and a duffel bag. The hotel was uphill. I sat down and had a little cry. Then I said to myself, if someone called you and asked for help you wouldn’t cry, you would roll up your sleeves and help! Girl, put on your big girl panties and HELP YOURSELF because you absolutely CAN do hard things. So I did. And I had a wonderful evening. More to come….
